Siempelkamp ContiRoll Commissioned by Australian Panels

Australian Panels installed a ContiRoll MDF forming and press line made by Siempelkamp in September 2017, improving capacity and quality. The old multi-opening line in Oberon, NSW was replaced with the ContiRoll in 8’ x 18.8m format with lightboard packaging, along with a Siempelkamp Compactor, providing effective protection for steel belts in the press.

The production spectrum includes boards in a thickness range from 1 to 25mm, with the capacity to produce particularly lightweight fibreboards. With this upgrade, Australian Panels increases the plant’s output whilst reducing raw material input.
