Borg Fleet Management maintain an internal fleet of company trucks, cars and plant, ensuring operational safety and reducing overall emissions through the latest technology, regular maintenance, and upgrades.

Borg Fleet Management are responsible for the logistics and the upkeep of internal vehicles, with over 300 trucks in the fleet including late model Volvo FH18, and 17 dedicated logging trucks with B-double trailers. Borg Fleet is heavily invested in driver safety, with Mix Telematics running alongside Guardian Seeing machines for managing driver fatigue and distractions.

As of 2020, Borg Fleet Management have invested in three new weighbridges for increased output and loading capacity. The goal was to provide a weighbridge to service 36.5 metre freight combinations, reduce weighbridge transit time, increase accuracy of weighing and future proof the set up for possible automation at a later date.

Overall emissions are reduced through an internal fleet department, maintaining, and upgrading truck and plant to ensure all transportation is to the highest standard. Not only is this adding to a sustainable infrastructure, but improves on driver safety.
